ODF Unit is used as terminal equipment of fiber optic cable for optical fiber wiring, fixation, fusion and patching.

Structure & Characteristics:

1. Composition: ODF Unit consists of ODF Box, internal components and fiber optic connector protection.

2. Capacity: 12 cores, 24 cores, 48 cores, 72 cores, 96 cores, 144 cores.

3. Internal components include the following sections:

Support frame: the main body of the internal structure for the support of the internal structure.

Fiber Splice Tray: used for sequentially storing the fiber optic connector(and its protective member) and the remaining optical fiber, the length of the remaining optical fiber is not less than 1.6 m, the radius of curvature of the remaining optical fiber disc is not less than 32 mm. It also could provide a mark for easy identification of the fiber number for reconnection and a space for easy operation.

Fixing device: used for cable sheath fixing, cable reinforcing member fixing and wiring pigtail fixing, and fiber optic connector is protected by a heat shrinkable protective tube.

4. Appearance: ODF unit has complete shape, no burrs, no bubbles, no cracks and voids, no warpage, no impurities and other defects. All background colors should be uniform and continuous. After electrostatic spray treatment, the color should be uniform and free of scratches and exposed bottom.

5. Material: All plastic parts are made of anti-corrosion properties. The metal parts are treated by electrostatic spray to increase their corrosion resistance. The physical and chemical properties of the materials are stable and the materials have good compatibility.

6. The heat-shrinking temperature of the material and filler used in the heat shrinkable protective tube is not less than 120℃, the thermal softening temperature is greater than 90℃, and the use temperature is -25℃ to +40℃.

7. All materials are non-toxic, non-corrosive, and have no side effects on human health and other equipment.

8. Structural features: 19”standard installation interface, suitable for installation on a variety of racks and cabinets; Metal structure, surface painting electrostatic spray, light structure, beautiful appearance; Fully modular design, full front operation flexible installation, convenient construction and maintenance; Pull-out design, fusion splicing cable module integrated with the splicing cable; Suitable for bundled and ribbon cable; 12pcs FC, SC and ST adapters can be installed on each tray.
